12:29 p.m. An intoxicated woman was reported for chasing children in the 600 block of Mildred Road. Her face was bleeding. She was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant and issued a new summons for possessing an open container of alcohol in a park.
2:26 p.m. A man turned himself in on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
5:18 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
6:05 p.m. A man was taken into custody on outstanding warrants after he was reported for acting suspicious in the 300 block of West Main Street.
9:05 p.m. Someone reported that a man and a woman were shoplifting at the Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. Previously banned from the store, the woman was issued warrants for trespassing and shoplifting. The man was then banned from the store and issued summons for shoplifting.
10:48 a.m. A man was taken into custody on outstanding warrants in the 800 block of South Broadway.
4:58 p.m. A man was taken into custody on outstanding warrants in the 1000 block of East Main Street after someone reported that he was arguing with a woman.
9:51 p.m. Two men were taken into custody after someone reported a verbal disturbance in the 200 block of East Seventh Street. Man No. 1 was drunk and was taken into custody for violating a protection order prohibiting him from consuming alcohol. Man No. 2 was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.
12:31 p.m. Someone reported that people were using drugs in a car parked in the 1100 block of East Main Street. A man in the car was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. The officer did not find paraphernalia.
7:58 p.m. Employees requested an unwanted man be removed from the City Market, 508 E. Main St. The man had a protection order prohibiting him from consuming alcohol but was extremely intoxicated. He was taken into custody and issued a summons for violating his protection order.
9:50 a.m. A man was taken into custody on 13 outstanding warrants in the 400 block of South Cedar Street after someone reported that he was peering into cars.
2:34 p.m. A woman reported that a bicycle appeared on her property in the 2200 block of East Main Street. An officer took possession of the bike and entered it as found property.
1:44 p.m. Someone reported a fight occurring wherein a woman was shot seven times with a BB gun at the Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. The apparent male suspect ditched the BB gun as he tried to walk away from officers. He was drunk and underage. He was taken into custody and issued summons for consuming alcohol underage, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and felony menacing. He was also served with outstanding warrants. The apparent female victim was taken into custody on outstanding warrants and issued summons for third-degree assault.
4:06 p.m. A man reported fraud in the 1000 block of South Chestnut Street. Apparently the man was advertising rentals on Facebook market place and someone who he did not know was using the posts to solicit a $50 application fee. An officer contacted the apparent suspect, but could not locate him.
11:57 a.m. A woman reportedly crashed into her own house while she was trying to park her car in the 800 block of South Chestnut Street.
2:06 p.m. A Durango man reported that someone was using his debit card in Cortez. Four fraudulent charges were made amounting to $359 before his card was disabled. An officer contacted the City Market at 508 E. Main St. and obtained receipts for two of the charges. There were no further leads.
6:54 p.m. A man reported that he was jumped by three men and wanted to press charges in the Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road. A witness stated that only one man was beating the apparent victim. The officer considered that there may have been two separate incidents.
9:31 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
12:15 a.m. A employee reported that a man gave her a counterfeit bill at the Domino’s Pizza, 2224 E. Main St. The man was already in custody.
7:50 a.m. A woman reported a suspicious bag left in the 600 block of East Main Street. An officer examined the bag, took possession of it and entered it as found property.
