The class is for young skaters who have completed their basic skills and wish to learn figure-skating foundational skills, including edge work, crossovers, beginning level spins and low-level jumps. The cost for the class is $200. Skaters may join any time during the season for a pro-rated price.
Chapman Hill Youth Ice Skating School offers lessons for skaters ages 3 to 18 who would like to learn basic skills and become more comfortable on the ice as a first step toward figure skating or hockey.
Three-week sessions (one class per week) will be offered throughout the winter season; the next session will begin the week of Nov. 2. The cost is $30 per three-week session. Discounts are available for youths who register for the entire season. Classes are available during the week and on Saturdays.
