The Durango Elks Lodge scholarship committee will recognize the 2023 scholarships recipients at an awards ceremony at 5:45 p.m. May 15 at the Durango Elks Lodge, 901 East Second Ave.
Twelve local scholarships and one state-level award will be awarded at the ceremony.
These students will receive $1,000 scholarships from Durango Lodge No. 507:
Katelyn Bowie, Baden Dickson and Shelby Zuber.
Olivia Rome: Colorado Elks Association Scholarship Grant.
Bailey Martinez.
Abria Thaye: Fred Zimmerman Memorial Scholarship.
Rachal Goodwin and Anaya Lucero.
Kaleb Johnson, Kyle Marotta and Noah Slingerland.
Hannah Rockensock: Elks National Foundation’s Most Valuable Student Finalist.
David Ashbaugh: Durango Elks Lodge Veteran’s Scholarship.
