Four Corners Back Country Horsemen will sponsor “Hoof Biomechanics and Orthotics for Performance and Longevity” at 3 p.m. July 27 at Durango Cowboy Church, 1867 State Highway 172.

Live polymer horse shoeing demonstrations will feature:

Michael Steward, DVM, pioneer of biomechanical approaches to hoof health and designer of the Steward Matrix Clog.Tyler Raymer, glue-on specialist and performance/movement expert from the Tryon International Equestrian Center.Matt Lawlor, owner/operator of Emerald Lake Horseshoes and inventor of the formula for the polymer shoes being used.
