The Four Corners Miniatures Club will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mancos Public Library, 211 W. First Street.
Those attending this month’s workshop will learn how to make straw hats in 1-inch scale for dollhouse dolls. There will be hat straw in a variety of colors and a wide selection of embellishments to choose from. All materials will be provided by the club. Bring a brown-bag lunch and beverage.
The Four Corners Miniatures Club is for dollhouse and miniature enthusiasts of all skill levels. The public is welcome to attend meetings to learn more about the hobby.

Meet ‘Most Wanted’ at cemetery tour
The La Plata County Historical Society will offer a tour of Greenmount Cemetery featuring “Barkeeps, Ruffians and Shady Ladies” at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Tour-goers will learn about some of the notorious residents who made Durango interesting.
Guests should meet at the cemetery main entrance and wear comfortable walking shoes. The tour is free, but donations will benefit the Animas Museum.

Concert, dance to be held Thursday
Fiddler Larry Unger of Boston and guitarist Karina Wilson of Santa Fe will perform at a concert and dance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at 26369 Highway 160 (frontage road across from Home Depot between Dietz Market and Eagle Crane.)
Admission is a suggested $15 donation on a sliding scale. The concert will precede the dance, which will include instruction in dances such as contras and squares as well as tango, waltz, swing, Scandinavian and more.
Bring drinks and finger foods to share, a chair, comfortable dance shoes and a water bottle.

Kirtan chant to benefit Manna Soup Kitchen
Blue Lotus Feet will hold a kirtan chant benefit concert for Manna Soup Kitchen at 7 p.m. today at the kitchen, 1100 Avenida del Sol.
Dancing is encouraged, and all proceeds will be donated to Manna.
