Spa Evo will host a Spring Salsa Party from 5 to 9 p.m. today on the roof of the Crossroads Building at 1099 Main Ave.
A donation of $5 or more at the door is requested with all proceeds to be donated to the Women’s Resource Center.
Music will be provided by DJ Gerardo X, and Salsera Blanca will offer free salsa lessons at 6 p.m.

Homemade media wanted for River Days
San Juan Citizens Alliance is seeking photos and videos from area residents for the Animas River Days Film Night and Kick-Off Party on June 6.
The party will feature the best of local adventures shown through photos and videos.
To submit a photo or video, send it to Kent Ford at [email protected]. Local adventures and those from far afield are welcome. Film and photo entries must be received by June 1 for consideration.
The party will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave. Tickets cost $10 in advance, $12 at the door, available at Maria’s Bookshop, 4Corners Riversports, Pine Needle Mountaineering and online at www.sanjuancitizens.org.

Kids can make animals at museum event
The Animas Museum, 3065 West Second Ave., will hold a Family Day from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Kids can celebrate community heritage by making their own flocks of sheep and herds of elk and explore the museum with a “Seek & Find” adventure.
Museum admission charges apply, but there is no additional charge for activities. Historical Society members are admitted free.

Artists may apply for juried show
Entries are being accepted for the Durango Arts Center’s 37th annual Juried Exhibition, which will be held June 21 through July 20.
The exhibition is open to artists working in any traditional or contemporary two- and three-dimensional media except video.

Artwork must be dropped off at the center, 802 East Second Ave., on June 18. Pieces not included in the juried exhibition will be displayed in the Salon de Refuses at Steamworks Brewing Co.
