The all-volunteer Southwest Civic Winds will give a free concert at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Rotary Park Gazebo. The concert band includes more than 60 musicians from the Four Corners with brass, woodwind and percussion instrumentation conducted by Fort Lewis College music professor Mark Walters.

The program will include “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Ride,” “An American Fanfare,” “Amazing Grace,” “Second Suite for Military Band in F Major,” “Amparito Roca,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” “Liberty Bell March” and “America the Beautiful.”

Lost Dog fundraiser to benefit lost dogs

The Lost Dog Bar & Lounge, 1150 Main Ave., will host the seventh annual BBQ & Barks benefit dinner and silent auction at 5 p.m. Saturday. Caleb Crain will provide live music. Miniatures club to work on dollhouse

The Four Corners Miniatures Club will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive, Bayfield.

The club is working on the interior design and layout of a 1-inch scale wood dollhouse. The dollhouse will be fully furnished and decorated by club members to be donated to a children’s facility in the Four Corners.

The Four Corners Miniatures Club is for dollhouse and miniaturists of all skill levels. Meetings are held monthly and include workshops in creating a variety of miniatures.

Artesanos to host photography workshop

Photographer, author and project consultant Robert Castellino will lead Artesanos Artisans & Digital Photography workshop Tuesday and Wednesday.

The first mini workshop, Exceptional Composition and Digital Photography, will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, and Wild Flowers – Macro Digital Photography Technique will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Participants will learn keys to photo composition and design; secrets to solving compositional problems; 10 tips for managing, enhancing and posting digital photographs; and essential skills and technique for making close-up macro photos of flowers.

All workshops include analysis of images and hands-on work in the field for the wildflower and floral portion of the workshop.
