Eating the right food is hidden medicine. Bhotia was born and raised in the mountains of Nepal and traveled extensively in the Himalayas. He was a mountain guide and photographer. He found his way to the Austrian Alps where he was a head chef at a mountain resort, then to Pasadena, California, where he operated a restaurant before making his way to Durango.
